Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Specialist Radiographer to join our Cardiology team at the Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the technical and radiographer staff, and further developing an efficient MRI service for our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical and radiographer staff in the MRI department
  • Develop and implement efficient MRI protocols and procedures
  • Manage patient bookings and waiting lists
  • Train and develop staff to perform MRI scans in accordance with Trust policies
  • Collaborate with the MRI Superintendent Radiographer to promote continuous improvements in service delivery and quality

Person Specification
  • Hold a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
  • Post-graduate qualification in MRI or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in MRI, with a proven track record of leadership and management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
