Job Title: Assistant Director of People Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our senior leadership team as Assistant Director of People Services. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our People Services Team and contribute to the development and implementation of our People Strategy.

About the Role

The Assistant Director of People Services will be responsible for leading the HR, Wellbeing, and Occupational Health teams, as well as the Payroll and Workforce Information team, Resourcing team, and Culture/Staff Experience team. You will work closely with the Director of People & Development to drive change, utilise your leadership skills, and empower managers to develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of our People Strategy
  • Manage and lead successful multidisciplinary teams and functions at a senior level
  • Advise on strategic options regarding service delivery
  • Deliver change and performance with and through others
  • Establish clear work priorities, delegate effectively, and monitor performance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Masters Level Qualification in a People Management subject or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of CIPD Chartered membership level
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
