Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the design of solar PV systems for large-scale, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of potential investments, focusing on technical assumptions and financial feasibility, including energy yield forecasts, system degradation rates, and maintenance requirements.
- Develop comprehensive CAPEX and OPEX profiles for each project, utilizing benchmark data, historical performance, and supplier quotes to inform accurate and detailed financial planning.
- Evaluate risk-adjusted returns of investment opportunities by analyzing technical and financial data, incorporating scenario analysis to understand the impact of varying technical assumptions and cost profiles on project viability and investor returns.
- Perform sensitivity analyses on key technical and financial inputs to identify potential risks and opportunities, ensuring investment decisions are robust and account for variations in CAPEX, OPEX, energy production, and market conditions.
- Utilize advanced software and methodologies to model the energy generation potential of existing and proposed assets, continuously improving models based on actual performance data and industry developments.
- Develop and implement proactive operation strategies for large-scale, commercial, and industrial rooftop assets to optimize performance, extend asset life, and reduce downtime.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, operational, and financial risks associated with renewable energy assets, implementing robust risk management frameworks and practices to protect investments and ensure asset resilience.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to align objectives and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in technical asset management, solar PV design, energy analysis, and direct experience in the construction, operation, and maintenance of PV assets.
- Advanced data analytics skills, including proficiency in interpreting complex datasets and conducting performance analyses and forecasting energy production accurately.
- Strong understanding of financial models and investment analysis in the renewable energy sector.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and project management abilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
