About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Planning Analyst to join our team in Aberdeen. As an Asset Planning Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of our company's strategic plans and ensuring the effective management of our assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Coordinate and prepare the annual strategic plan submission, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Production Stabilization Planning: Coordinate and prepare the 3-year production stabilization plan, working closely with the Corporate Planning and Cost Control Groups.
  • Capital Management: Support the annual work programme and budget (WP&B) process, ensuring effective capital management and allocation.
  • Short, Mid, and Long-Term Planning: Support the development of short, mid, and long-term plans for the UK, working collaboratively with the Corporate Planning and Cost Control Groups.
  • Decision Analysis: Participate in the decision analysis process, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Business Analysis: Perform ad-hoc business analyses and provide support to the UK Leadership Team in their review of strategic plan inputs.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Capital Analyst, Finance Business Partners, and HQ to steward the annual Capital budget.
  • Professional Development: Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance technical and personal skills.

Requirements:

  • Education: Educated to degree level (BA, BSc or equivalent) in Business Management (Finance or Accounting), Economics, and/or Engineering.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledgeable in basic accounting concepts, familiar with operational and commercial arrangements within the Oil & Gas industry, and proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Communication: Able to listen, understand, and explain effectively to both financial and operational audiences.
