Your responsibilities:

We are looking for a skilled professional with a passion for crafting persuasive proposals that secure contracts. Your role will involve:
  • Gaining a thorough understanding of client requirements and ensuring proposals meet their objectives.
  • Collaborating with project teams to develop effective strategies for proposal creation.
  • Leading the development of project summaries and conducting storyboarding sessions with client representatives.
  • Creating compelling content that highlights Veolia's value proposition across various sectors, particularly in environmental services, utilities, and facilities management.
  • Translating operational insights into winning proposals.
  • Identifying relevant case studies and evidence to enhance proposal quality.
  • Ensuring proposals are well-structured, adhere to branding standards, and maintain a professional tone.
  • Building relationships with subject matter experts to gather necessary information.
  • Maintaining high standards of content quality while adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Participating in client meetings and providing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Analyzing past bids to share best practices with teams and enhance the bid library.
What we seek:

We are looking for candidates with experience in utilities, construction, or facilities management, particularly in writing tenders valued over £500k.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Strong proofreading and editing skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with G Suite and proposal automation tools.
  • A degree in a relevant field.
  • A writing qualification or professional writing experience, with APMP certification preferred.
  • A proven track record in developing successful proposals.
