This position encompasses responsibilities within both the operational finance team and the investment and growth team. You will be tasked with preparing management accounts and developing financial models to support bids and tenders.
This role offers the chance to enhance your management accounting skills while also engaging in business partnering and financial modeling.
Management Accounting Responsibilities:- Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts, including General Ledger entries, Accruals, Prepayments, and Reconciliations
- Conducting monthly analysis and investigation of P&L Variances
- Performing Intercompany Reconciliation
- Executing Balance Sheet Reconciliations, including analysis and review of balance sheet items
- Conducting Fixed Asset Reviews
- Maintaining data utilized for Management Accounts purposes
Investment and Growth Responsibilities:
- Assist the broader growth team in creating financial models to support bids and tenders across various business streams within Veolia IWE.
- Collaborate with business development and operational teams to ensure accurate and robust bid submissions, adhering to Veolia's commercial and financial governance standards.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the key financial aspects of bid submissions to ensure appropriate accounting treatment.
- Undertake ad hoc project work as needed while ensuring compliance with all Veolia policies and procedures.
- Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA with essential experience in management accounting is required.
- Proficiency in Excel and computer skills is necessary, including knowledge of GSuite.
- Familiarity with Workday and Adaptive Insights is advantageous.
