We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Jupiter Recruitment. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and mentorship to our team of healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to the team to create a person-centered environment, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Risk Assessment and Management: Develop and implement risk assessment and management procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients.
- Patient Care: Oversee patient treatment plans, conduct psychological assessments, diagnoses, and outpatient follow-ups, and prescribe and monitor medications as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a culture of collaboration and communication among team members, promoting a cohesive and effective multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Qualifications: Possession of an MRCPsychiatry or equivalent qualification and full GMC registration.
- Experience: Recent exposure to acute Psychiatry and relevant experience in a similar setting with adult patients.
- Skills: Approval under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act, demonstrated ability to lead a multidisciplinary team, comprehensive knowledge of Mental Health Legislation, and proficiency in risk assessment and management principles.
