Role Overview:

We are currently seeking an Accounts Administration Assistant for a fixed-term contract within our support services team. This position is based in Lewes and offers a diverse range of responsibilities, including assisting the Admin Supervisor with data entry of work orders from technicians and processing sales invoices.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will have experience in a dynamic administrative setting and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. A confident, motivated, and adaptable approach is essential for this role. You will be expected to work independently and manage your workload effectively.

This position is ideal for individuals with a background in accounts or those aspiring to enter this field, as you will be responsible for raising orders, goods receipting, and invoice processing.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Accounts Administration Assistant, you will report directly to the Admin Supervisor, engaging in a variety of tasks that include:

  • Utilizing our computer systems to place orders on behalf of others.
  • Inputting sales invoices and compiling data for reporting purposes.
  • Completing job cards and assisting with payroll data entry to meet weekly deadlines.

Comprehensive training will be provided for this role.

Compensation Package:

At Colas, we offer a competitive total compensation package, which includes:

  • A salary range of £24,000 to £26,000 per annum.
