Key Responsibilities:

Trade Marketing Strategy:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to design and implement impactful trade marketing initiatives that align with the company's sales objectives and overall business strategy.
  • Work alongside marketing and commercial teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across various platforms, integrating trade marketing efforts with broader business goals.

Retailer Engagement:

  • Establish and nurture strong partnerships with key retailers, understanding their requirements and working together to create joint marketing initiatives.
  • Assist the marketing team in maintaining accurate and relevant product data and media assets for Hozelock, enhancing visibility across retailer touchpoints.

Campaign Planning and Execution:

  • Partner with the Marketing Manager and commercial team to strategize, implement, and assess trade marketing campaigns, including in-store promotions, product launches, advertising, and special events.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with UK and International teams on internal communications.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of Trade Show Exhibitions, managing aspects such as costs, locations, marketing materials, attendees, transportation, and booth design.
  • Aid in the development and production of trade and POS catalogues for both UK and International Markets.
  • Contribute to the ongoing management and execution of trade social media strategies.

Market Insights:

  • Assist in conducting market research and analysis to remain informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences.
  • Leverage trading data and insights to evaluate brand performance, identify new opportunities, and provide data-driven recommendations for enhancing marketing effectiveness.

Budget Oversight:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to ensure that projects and campaigns are executed on schedule and within budget, optimizing resource allocation to maximize ROI.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insights and suggestions for continuous improvement.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

  • Maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders to ensure a unified approach to marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Manage and support marketing processes, contributing to various ad-hoc projects as necessary.
