Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the kitchen team and ensure efficient operation across all meal services.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Oversee the preparation and cooking of meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.
  • Ensure all kitchen operations comply with health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies, ensuring the kitchen is stocked with necessary ingredients and equipment.
  • Address any customer feedback related to food quality or service in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in budgeting for kitchen operations, including food costs, labour, and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in a similar role or an experienced Chef de Partie looking to step up.
  • Strong training and development skills to share with others.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate the individuals within your team.
  • Good organisation and planning skills gained through previous experience.
  • Good IT skills for admin work and basic Microsoft office skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and services.
  • Relevant food hygiene certificates.
