We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at ABC Hospitality Enterprise in Aberdeen. As an integral part of our kitchen operation, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in managing daily activities, including overseeing staff, aiding with menu preparation, ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and stocking.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assisting the kitchen team in food service and managing kitchen operations as required
  • Providing guidance and support to junior kitchen staff members, including line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating
  • Ensuring all food preparation and presentation meet high standards and restaurant expectations
  • Collaborating with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to maintain kitchen organization, staff development, and training opportunities
  • Verifying that food storage units meet health and safety standards and are consistently well-managed
  • Coordinating with the management team on supply ordering, budgeting, and kitchen efficiency and staffing
  • Ensuring the entire kitchen team adheres to quality, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
  • Assisting with managing food inventory and ordering stock
  • Delivering exceptional customer experiences through high-quality food and excellent service

We estimate the salary range for this position to be around £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
