Key ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to the Finance Director, your duties will include:
- Daily Accounting Management: Oversee the maintenance of all primary ledgers, cash books, and the secure accounting system.

- IFRS16 Compliance: Responsible for calculations and integrity within the group’s monthly reporting package, generating reconciliations to statutory reporting.
- Audit Preparation: Prepare information for audits necessary for the production of statutory accounts and compliance with group reporting requirements.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Conduct balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with group policy.
- Management Reporting: Prepare monthly management reports, including specific group reporting requirements such as sales flash and internal sales reports.
- SAGE System Maintenance: Maintain the local SAGE system, including cost center structure and site splits for local management.
- Financial Controls Development: Develop and maintain robust financial controls to ensure compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and Companies Act.
- Procedure Implementation: Create and implement procedures to secure segregation of duties within a compact finance team.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification or part qualification with substantial experience in the finance sector.
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- The ability to adapt and manage projects on an ad hoc basis.
