Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Finance professional to join our Senior Leadership Team as our Head of Finance. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the delivery of Cornerstone's strategic, operational, and departmental plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide financial management and business support to ensure the provision of accurate, reliable, and timely financial information and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain effective financial controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead, develop, and manage a Finance team to deliver high-quality services within a similar type or size of organization.
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting and written reports analyzing performance and mitigation steps.
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets, monitoring reports, forecasts, and annual accounts.

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline.
  • Recognized chartered accountancy CCAB qualification.
  • Knowledge and experience of the legal and charitable framework.
  • Proven experience in leading, developing, and managing a Finance team.
  • Good analytical and evaluation skills with the ability to understand and carry out complex numerical and financial calculations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and organize work.
