Marine Consultant Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principle Marine Consultant to join our team at Ocean Science Consulting Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating our marine consultancy services worldwide.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in marine biology, oceanography, or environmental science, with a minimum of two years' experience in offshore fieldwork and at least five years' experience in the marine consultancy sector, including a leadership role.
Key responsibilities will include providing mitigation advice for offshore industries, logistics and freight management for offshore projects, and assisting with proposals, tenders, and vendor databases. You will also be responsible for quality control and supervision of databases, data collection, and report writing, as well as contributing to marketing initiatives and preparing marketing literature.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and delegation skills, with the ability to work on own initiative and prioritise effectively. They will also have a genuine interest in the business and industry, and be commercially aware and discreet.
