Aerospace and Defence Business Development Manager

This role is a key part of our commercial team, responsible for building on our excellent reputation in the UK and Ireland. The successful candidate will be expected to travel and stay overnight, identifying and securing profitable new business opportunities for our company. They will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with our current customer base, ensuring high service levels and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and target new sectors and customers across the UK and Ireland to deliver business growth targets.
  • Develop a new business strategy for our company, identifying sectors, markets, and customers for self and the team to pursue.
  • Accurate reporting of the sales pipeline for self and the team, ensuring CRM accurately reflects our performance at all times.
  • Maintain customer retention through regular customer engagement, ensuring efficient supply chain operation and identifying collaborative opportunities to drive value and promote contract maximization.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience within a fast-paced logistics environment with awareness of FMCG.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Advance Excel skills.
