Position Overview

We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer who will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and upkeep of our Azure Stack Hub environment. This position also involves managing the physical networking and cabling essential for our data centers. You will collaborate closely with cloud architects and system administrators to ensure optimal integration and performance across both cloud and on-premise systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Azure Management: Oversee the deployment and management of Azure Stack Hub resources, ensuring integration with services like Entra Governance.
  • Physical Network Setup: Handle the installation of servers, switches, and other hardware, as well as the management of network cabling and physical security.
  • Infrastructure Support: Collaborate with various teams to support IT infrastructure, providing hands-on assistance during upgrades and migrations.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain thorough documentation for all infrastructure components, ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations.
  • Project Involvement: Engage in planning and executing projects related to hybrid cloud environments, working with vendors for successful delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in administering and managing private-cloud solutions.
  • Understanding of RPO and RTO, with the ability to manage on-premise backup solutions.
  • Experience in traffic management and networking within secure private-cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with hardware redundancy and high availability concepts.
  • Ability to monitor and optimize the performance of private-cloud solutions.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server administration.
