Position Overview

We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer who will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and upkeep of our Azure Stack Hub environment, alongside the physical networking and cabling that supports our data centers. This position involves close collaboration with cloud architects and system administrators to guarantee optimal integration and performance across both cloud and on-premise systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of Azure Stack Hub: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and continuous management of Azure Stack Hub resources, ensuring effective integration of services such as Entra Governance.
  • Physical Network Infrastructure: Handle the installation and configuration of servers, switches, and other hardware, while maintaining high standards of network integrity through meticulous cabling practices.
  • Data Center Operations: Conduct regular maintenance checks on both cloud-integrated and traditional systems, ensuring comprehensive documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Infrastructure Collaboration: Work alongside cloud architects and network engineers to support the overall IT infrastructure, providing hands-on assistance during upgrades and deployments.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain detailed records of all infrastructure components, ensuring adherence to security policies and industry regulations.
  • Project Participation: Engage in the planning and execution of projects involving hybrid cloud environments, collaborating with vendors and contractors for successful outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise: Proven experience with Azure Stack Hub, including deployment and management, along with a strong background in on-premise networking.
  • Experience: Demonstrated history of working in data centers and managing hybrid cloud solutions, with a solid understanding of networking protocols and security best practices.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Stack Hub Operator are preferred.
