p>At Green Recruitment Company, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Director to lead our geotechnical engineering team. This individual will play a key role in managing client relationships, providing staff training and project leadership, and preparing technical reports and specifications. b>
  • Collaborate with office leadership to develop growth strategies and ensure staff utilization;
  • Provide guidance and review of geotechnical design, including foundations, deep excavations, earthworks, and ground improvement;
  • Utilize specialist analytical software, such as 3D FE software like Plaxis, to drive project success;
  • Mentor and coach staff, providing review and feedback on their work;
  • Prepare proposals, coordinate projects, manage clients, and handle invoicing;
  • Provide technical expertise during construction projects;
  • Manage multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines, monitoring budgets, schedules, and project timelines. p>

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field;
  • Prior experience with geotechnical investigations and construction inspections;
  • Office experience with investigation and field work coordination, geotechnical reports, and specification writing;
  • Prior field experience in earthwork, driven and drilled pile construction, load testing, footings subgrade and backfill inspection, ground improvements, retaining wall design and construction, and excavation support system design and inspection;
  • Desired software knowledge: gINT, Slide/SLOPE/W, PLAXIS, LPILE, GRLWEAP, MSEW, SHAKE;
  • Some field work is required; and
  • Possess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver's license in good standing. p>
