About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join JP Engineering as a Geotechnical Engineer - Engineering Geologist, working on some of the most prestigious projects in the UK. You will gain invaluable experience on ground and structural investigations, applying advanced techniques in data recovery.

The role is primarily site-based, with structured office time to facilitate project preliminaries, report writing, and training. You will be part of a dedicated team, working on a range of routine and complex sites, and will be expected to demonstrate strong site project management and critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage ground investigations across a range of sites
  • Lead site-based teams and ensure successful delivery of projects
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Conduct site investigations and collect data using various geotechnical software
  • Produce high-quality reports and technical documents

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant field, such as Geology, Geophysics, Geotechnical/Geoenvironmental Engineering, or Civil Engineering
  • Proven experience in site project management and geotechnical investigations
  • Clean full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in CAD, AGS, OpenGround, Holebase, gINT, and other geotechnical software
