About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer to join our team at Penguin Recruitment. As a Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing geotechnical structures, including retaining walls, slopes, foundations, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing geotechnical structures, including retaining walls, slopes, foundations, and infrastructure
  • Carrying out desktop studies and scoping ground investigations
  • Mentoring junior members of the team
Requirements
  • Experience as a Geotechnical Design Engineer with a strong understanding of soil mechanics
  • Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Excel, Alp, PDisp, Rocscience Slide, ADC Adsec, Oasys Pile, and WALLAP
  • Degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering (with a geotechnical focus), or similar (MSc preferred)
  • Full and clean UK driving license
  • Right to work in the UK
