Job Summary:

JP Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer/Engineering Geologist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and managing ground investigations, ensuring the successful delivery of projects across a range of routine and complex sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage ground investigations, including site project management and critical thinking skills.
  • Collaborate with our team to deliver high-quality results and meet business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct site investigations, including data collection and analysis.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Geology, Geophysics, Geotechnical/Geoenvironmental Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
  • Clean full UK driving license.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong health and safety awareness.
  • Good organization, IT, and technical report writing skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD, AGS, OpenGround, Holebase, gINT, and other geotechnical software.
