Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Team Leader to join our team at CV-Library. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of production operatives, providing coaching and mentoring to improve their skills and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of production operatives to ensure the smooth operation of our production processes.
  2. Coaching and Mentoring: Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to improve their skills and productivity, and to support their career development.
  3. Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews and manage employee development to ensure that team members are meeting their performance goals.
  4. Employee Relations: Work with our HR team to support employee relations within the team and to manage conflicts effectively.
  5. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to drive continuous improvement, onboarding, and retention of staff.
  6. Production Scheduling: Work with our operations manager and planner to ensure that production schedules are met while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
  7. Problem-Solving: Monitor production processes and workflow to identify potential problems and implement solutions to resolve them.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Experience in a managerial role in a production environment is required.
  2. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
  3. Time Management: Excellent time management and organization skills are required to prioritize tasks and manage a high-volume workload.
  4. People Management: Excellent people management skills are necessary to lead and motivate a team of production operatives.
  5. Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail is required to ensure that production processes are operating efficiently and effectively.
  6. Teamwork: Ability to work well within a team and have strong organizational, planning, delegation, and supervisory skills.
  7. Adaptability: Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Stress Management: Ability to manage stressful situations and work under pressure to meet targets and deadlines.
  9. Customer Service: Commitment to delivering the best possible customer service and maximizing customer satisfaction.
