Expert CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Practitioner

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive specialist neurodevelopmental evaluations and therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents, along with their families, facing significant and intricate challenges within the CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Pathway.
Engage actively in pioneering advancements of the Neurodevelopmental Team (NDT) alongside colleagues. Provide expert psychoeducation regarding neurodevelopmental disorders to youth and their families, both individually and in group settings. Facilitate specialized parenting workshops.Conduct initial telephone assessments and evaluations for clients referred to the service. Offer line management or clinical oversight to junior team members within the NDT as necessary. Front Door Team Responsibilities: Manage referrals for appropriateness to CAMHS through telephone and face-to-face consultations.
Effectively provide consultations and collaborate with other professionals concerning referrals, assessments, and general inquiries. Deliver triage evaluations, develop treatment plans, and offer group and brief interventions as needed. Assist the Front Door Team in managing the screening and processing of ADHD referrals and general evaluations of neurodevelopmental disorders. Collaborate with the Front Door Team and NDT Lead to ensure a smooth workflow and establish comprehensive care plans.For additional details, please refer to the attached job description outlining generic duties and responsibilities.
