Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced nurse to join our dynamic team as a Neurology Research Nurse. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for managing research studies, assessing and managing patient care pathways, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Main Duties
  • Manage own caseload of research studies, maintaining effective communication with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure research study specific investigations are undertaken as required by the trial protocol.
  • Act as a resource and support to patients and carers, explaining practical aspects of research studies.
  • Arrange collection of samples required as part of the research study and ensure safe and appropriate storage.
  • Maintain adequate patient records and ensure all relevant information is documented.
  • Accurately and timely complete case report forms (CRFs).
  • Monitor participants for toxicity/side effects and ensure changes to treatment are effected as required.
  • Record and report any adverse events that occur whilst the patient is in the research study.
