Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Design Manager to join our team at KBS Maritime Ltd. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for developing and managing multi-discipline internal and external design teams.

You will work closely with our clients to understand their strategic requirements and develop detailed Statements of Requirements (SOR) addressing performance, dependencies, risks, test and commissioning, applicable standards/regulations, and acceptance criteria.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and manage multi-discipline internal and external design teams to deliver high-quality designs that meet client requirements.
  2. Work closely with clients to understand their strategic requirements and develop detailed Statements of Requirements (SOR).
  3. Manage the design process through the development of the RIBA design stages, factoring in timescales and feasibility of design elements in practice.
  4. Ensure designs align to client's strategic and environmental objectives, including Net Zero Carbon, and actively offer innovations to support these objectives.
  5. Confidently support and advise clients regarding design elements, maximising relations and factoring in delivery.
About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Design Manager who possesses strong communication skills, established negotiation ability, and key attributes such as listening, clarification, concise behaviours, and persuasiveness.

You will have a strong understanding of the design process and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
