We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to lead our pharmacy service for musculoskeletal, specialized surgery, and urology at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical advice to nursing and medical staff on patient management.
- Oversee the provision of high-quality, safe, and comprehensive pharmaceutical services.
- Lead a team of pharmacy professionals to deliver, develop, and manage the pharmacy service.
- Develop and implement innovative ways of working to improve patient care.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure efficient transfer of clinical and medicines management issues.
- MPharm postgraduate clinical qualification or equivalent experience.
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Member of a professional organization such as the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS), UK Clinical Pharmacy Association (UKCPA), or British Orthoptic Society (BOPA).
- Experience of delivering education and training at postgraduate level.
- Expert clinical knowledge and skills relevant to the area of practice.
