The Eastern region is poised for a transformative year with the establishment of a new Regional Fostering Hub, spearheaded by Norfolk County Council.

Our mission is to develop a centralized resource to facilitate a more efficient approach to the recruitment of foster carers, collaborating to enhance both the quantity and diversity of Foster Carers to cater to the needs of all children in care.

We have set ambitious objectives to increase the number of Foster Carers, aiming to significantly improve the lives and outcomes of children in care throughout the region.

  • Streamlining the process from initial inquiry to application and approval.
  • Enhancing the volume of quality inquiries and gathering data on effective marketing strategies.
  • Implementing a collaborative approach to fostering recruitment across local authorities.
  • Creating a central 'landing page' for the communications campaign, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Focusing on regional communications that build on successful foster care recruitment strategies, directing potential foster carers to the recruitment support hub.

Role Overview:

This position involves executing recruitment initiatives for the East Region Fostering Hub, aimed at successfully attracting new Foster Carers to address the growing needs of children and young people in care.

The role will support the fostering service in managing all inquiries, conducting initial assessments, leading recruitment events, and serving as the primary contact for the combined authorities' fostering service.

Candidate Profile:

We seek an individual who is motivated and dedicated to our mission of increasing the number of Foster Carers in the Eastern region. You should possess a curious and determined mindset, ensuring that every inquiry received by the hub is maximized.

Ideal candidates will have exceptional communication skills, the ability to foster strong relationships over the phone, and a genuine passion for foster care recruitment.
