Senior Procurement Specialist

About the Role
This exciting new opportunity has arisen on the back of sustained business growth for a successful global manufacturer based in Norfolk. As a hybrid working role, you will spend 2 days per week in the office, reporting directly to the Head of Indirect Procurement and working within a large and respected procurement function.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a variety of projects across a range of Indirect spend, driving strategic initiatives and contributing to the success of the organisation.
- Develop and implement effective supplier performance management strategies, ensuring optimal relationships and outcomes.
- Support commercial contract management activities, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and ensuring seamless execution.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, providing proactive support and guidance as needed.
- Play a proactive role in risk management, identifying and mitigating potential threats to the organisation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, with a focus on Indirect spend and a strong understanding of procurement principles.
- Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to demonstrate resilience and perseverance in a complex working environment.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain a high level of attention to detail, with a strong drive and self-motivated approach to work.
- Open to future opportunities for personal and career development, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
