Trust and Estates Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Trust and Estates Accountant to join our team in Cambridge. As a hybrid accountant, you will work alongside our partners to manage a portfolio of clients, delivering exceptional service for trusts, estates, and high net worth individuals and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with relevant deadlines for trusts and individuals.
  • Assist partners and directors with advisory projects, including setting up and closing trusts.
  • Attend client meetings as required.
  • Assist with estate administration, including preparation of probate applications, estate accounts, and IHT returns.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in trust and probate professional services.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience managing personal and trust compliance, including accounts, income tax returns, and IHT returns.
  • Experience in advising onshore trusts.
  • The ability and enthusiasm to train and develop team members.
