About the Role:

As a Care Assistant at McCarthy Stone, you will provide exceptional individual care to our residents, enabling them to live their later years with dignity and independence. Your duties will include delivering housekeeping and domestic support across the estate, including apartment cleans, as well as supporting and encouraging residents to participate in activities that promote their health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care to residents, including assistance with daily living tasks and promoting independence
  • Deliver housekeeping and domestic support, including apartment cleans and laundry services
  • Support residents to participate in activities that promote their health and wellbeing
  • Assist with booking appointments, arranging transport, and escorting residents on visits as needed
  • Help residents with their shopping and other errands

About You:

We are looking for a warm, friendly, and compassionate individual with a passion for making a difference in the lives of older people. You will have ideally some experience of working in a care or support environment and be driven to deliver excellent customer service. You will also be located within an easily commutable distance from our estate.
