As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to live independently and have choice and control over their lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized care and support to residents with learning disabilities, tailored to their needs and wishes.
- Work collaboratively with residents to identify and achieve their goals, promoting choice and control.
- Assist with everyday tasks, including personal care, domestic work, and supporting residents with their interests and activities.
- Participate in night duties, including supporting morning and evening activities, personal care, and responding to residents' needs.
- Contribute to a healthy, well-balanced, and fulfilling lifestyle for residents.
Requirements
- A full driving license and willingness to drive accessible vehicles.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent support to residents.
- Passion for caring for people and helping them live independently.
What We Offer
- Competitive hourly rates, including £11.25 - £12.37 per hour at weekends.
- Guaranteed hours available for part-time workers.
- Overtime paid at £2.50 extra per hour.
- £25 Emergency Payment for short notice cover.
