Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Waking Night Support Worker to join our team at Mencap, a leading organization supporting individuals with learning disabilities. This is a permanent, full-time position based in a Service in Bury St Edmunds.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to adults with learning disabilities, enabling them to access community resources, maintain their homes, and live a fulfilling life. As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personal care, conducting regular checks throughout the night, and performing household duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Conduct regular checks throughout the night to ensure the safety and comfort of service users.
  • Perform household duties, including cleaning and laundry, to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
