About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Business Partner to join our team at Dignity Plc. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in leading the strategic and tactical delivery of our People plan to the business across assigned regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Delivery of the People Strategy: Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and implement a comprehensive People strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Ensure Pragmatic, Commercial, and People-Centric Solutions: Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on all aspects of people management, ensuring that solutions are practical, commercially viable, and people-focused.
  • Support and Coach Managers: Offer coaching and development opportunities to managers to enhance their people management skills and capabilities.
  • Partner with Leaders on Large-Scale People Change: Work closely with senior leaders to design, scope, and deliver large and complex people change initiatives that drive business outcomes.
  • Deliver Key People Initiatives: Lead the delivery of key people initiatives across the broad people spectrum, including workforce planning, organizational design, talent acquisition, talent management, reward, and engagement.
  • Be Data-Driven in Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to inform decision making and drive business outcomes.
Requirements
  • Experience Leading Large-Scale People Change Initiatives: Proven track record of leading large-scale people change initiatives that drive business outcomes.
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management and Coaching Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders and managers, and provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance their people management skills.
  • Commercial Acumen and Critical Thinking: Strong commercial acumen and critical thinking skills to provide expert advice and guidance on people management issues.
  • Experience Working in Large Organizations: Proven experience working in large organizations, preferably with a branch or store network.
  • Influencing and Challenging Decisions: Ability to influence and challenge decisions effectively to drive business outcomes.
  • Leading and Motivating Teams: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams through change.
  • Comfortable with Frequent Regional Travel: Comfortable with frequent regional travel and visiting multiple locations on a regular basis.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: Up to £53,000 per annum depending on experience.
