Job Title: Associate Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director to lead our work on public services and contribute to the development of our research and policy agenda.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, leading and managing a significant programme of research and influencing public services policy. This will involve working closely with our team of expert researchers, policymakers and stakeholders to develop and implement our research and policy agenda.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead a programme of research on public services, including health, education and childcare and social care.
• Develop and implement a strategy for influencing public services policy, including working with government, politicians, business, academia and the voluntary sector.
• Manage and oversee a team of researchers and policymakers to deliver high-quality research and policy outputs.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including government, politicians, business, academia and the voluntary sector.
• Contribute to the development of our research and policy agenda, including identifying key issues and opportunities for research and policy influence.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of research and policy experience, including a deep understanding of public services policy and a proven ability to influence policy decisions. They will also have excellent communication and project management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.
