Maintenance Engineer

Our client, a luxury hotel and members club in South Kensington, London, is seeking a skilled Shift Engineer to join their maintenance team. As a Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical, electrical, and fabric maintenance works on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain mechanical plant, including pumps, motors, seals, and bearings.
- Perform air conditioning and water treatment tasks, including temperature checks and filter changes.
- Carry out plumbing and electrical duties, including unblocking toilets and replacing taps and washers.
- Conduct general building fabric maintenance and ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Escort specialist subcontractors and ensure that all work is carried out efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a hotel or commercial building maintenance environment.
- A proven track record in multi-skilled maintenance and a strong understanding of building services equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and remain proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment.
