Senior Freight Forwarder

Our client is a leading logistics company that delivers cargo across their global network via road, rail, sea, and air. With a strong presence in the EMEA region, they offer a wide range of services, including consolidation, palletized cargo, and the transportation of dangerous goods and bulk commodities.
This role sits within the Key Accounts team, which is responsible for providing exceptional service to major clients. As a Senior Freight Forwarder, you will be the central point of coordination for all EMEA transactions related to Key Accounts.
Key Responsibilities:- Central Coordination: Ensure smooth and transparent movement of goods within specified timelines and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Global Liaison: Collaborate with UK, Regional, and Global partners to facilitate transparent and efficient transactions.
- Quotation Preparation: Prepare quotations for clients, especially for transactions falling outside of Global pricing.
- Transportation Arrangement: Arrange transportation for goods and act as a conduit for movements within the EMEA region.
- Customer Intake Optimization: Liaise with customers to optimize their intake schedules, contributing to the efficient production of finished goods.
- Customs Formalities: Collaborate with the UK Customs team to ensure the smooth execution of Customs formalities.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a Senior Operations Role or Major Accounts, Service Delivery, with a stable work history record.
- Operational Knowledge: In-depth operational knowledge of freight movements, including Deep Sea, Air, and Road movements (inbound and outbound).
- Solution-Oriented: Proven track record of a solution-based approach to problem-solving.
- Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills to meet and exceed client expectations.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to contribute effectively as a team player and work independently with initiative.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CargoWise 1 and Microsoft Office skills (intermediate+).
