Freight Forwarding Expert Required

Right Now Group is partnering with a leading global freight forwarder based in the West Midlands to find an experienced Freight Forwarding Expert.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in road freight operations, customs clearance, and freight forwarding, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage existing client relationships, ensuring seamless customs clearance and freight forwarding services
  • Develop and present proposals to clients, highlighting cost-effective solutions and value-added services
  • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate rates and optimize logistics operations
  • Ensure administrative tasks are completed to a high standard, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Identify opportunities to develop new products and trade lanes, driving business growth and expansion
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in road freight operations, with a strong understanding of customs clearance and freight forwarding
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with clients at all levels
  • Strong knowledge of road freight and distribution operations, with a network of reliable suppliers
  • Good understanding of customs regulations and procedures
What We Offer:
