About the Role
At Tesco, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences through data-driven insights. As a Digital Analyst Lead, you'll play a crucial role in driving business growth by analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and developing actionable recommendations.

You'll be part of the Product Analytics and Experimentation team, working closely with product managers, UX leads, and other stakeholders to define objectives, set targets, and analyze product releases. Your expertise in data analysis, visualization, and statistical modeling will help drive business decisions and inform product development.

Key Responsibilities:
Owning relationships with product managers and UX leads to define objectives and key results. Executing end-to-end analysis, gathering and shaping requirements, defining success metrics, and delivering insights. Using data from multiple sources to identify trends, expose new opportunities, and answer business questions. Being the lead team expert on digital and product analytics, driving best practice within the team. Guiding, training, and mentoring others to upskill the team. Using models, advanced analytics, and statistical techniques to serve business purposes. Proactively identifying data quality improvements to increase performance and accuracy of KPIs and analysis. Giving greater context to analyses by incorporating external data for comparison purposes. Following our Business Code of Conduct and acting with integrity and due diligence.
You'll Need
You'll need to have demonstrated experience of:
Working effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and understanding how to contribute to all phases of the product development lifecycle. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex concepts to a diverse audience. The ability to influence without authority. Several years of experience in analytics positions. University degree of 2:1 or higher in a quantitative discipline or relevant experience. A high level of commercial awareness. Being a champion of digital analytics tools. Managing change in a dynamic environment. Advanced use of big data, business intelligence, and data visualization tools. Expert-level SQL and advanced ETL. Experience with visitor segmentation and statistical modeling techniques. Thinking at a conceptual level across several customer and colleague touch points.
