Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales and Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating sales leads, securing new business, and supporting activities to retain existing accounts. You will work closely with our marketing team to develop and implement sales strategies that drive business growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to business strategy and agree clear objectives in line with our business plan and monitor progress, offering support and guidance as required.
  • Set the standards and consistently deliver exceptional customer service to our clients.
  • Take the lead in managing relationships with new sales, ensuring the delivery of consistent client experiences.
  • Drive contract review processes, providing subject expertise, analysis, and insights as required, to ensure delivery in line with client expectations and SLAs.
  • Generate and follow up on leads to provide high-quality appointments and secure new business.
  • Liaise with our marketing team to ensure the necessary collateral and key messages are reinforced to the target market to increase awareness in line with our brand promise.
  • Attend networking events to secure new potential business development contacts.
  • Maximize conversion rates to secure high-value business in line with our business strategy and goals.
  • Work with senior colleagues to agree on realistic SLAs that can be met in line with client needs.
  • Gather market intelligence to inform sales tender approaches.
  • Maintain contact and undertake regular informal and formal client reviews as required.
  • Monitor market trends and identify tender opportunities, ensuring their submission with agreed timescales and specifications.
  • Seek to identify and implement opportunities for improvement in all sales administrative forms and processes.

Requirements

  • Experience in client account management.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Bid writing skills.
  • Computer literacy, specifically Excel.
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
