Job Title: Consultant Clinical Psychologist for Older Peoples Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Clinical Psychologist to join our team as the strategic and professional lead for Working Age Adults Psychology provision within Acute Inpatient Services.

About the Role

As the Consultant Clinical Psychologist Lead, you will be responsible for providing clinical, professional, and strategic leadership in developing and maintaining systematic, high-quality, and comprehensive psychology services for working age adults within the acute pathway.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership in developing and maintaining psychology services for working age adults within the acute pathway.
  • Lead the development of strategic plans for psychology services within the acute pathway.
  • Collaborate with the locality senior leadership team and specialty clinical network to enhance and evaluate the psychological care offer for working age adults across acute inpatient wards, respite, and urgent care services.
  • Provide professional leadership for Psychology within First Response (CRHTT) service in a locality.
Requirements
  • Doctoral level training in clinical psychology as accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
  • Post-doctoral training in one or more additional relevant specialized areas of psychological practice.
  • Knowledge of relevant NHS structures, processes, and policies.
  • Well-developed skills in the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, complex, highly technical, and/or clinically sensitive information.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £62,215 to £85,601 per annum pro rata, as well as opportunities for professional development and training.
