The Role: Distribution Intern

Reporting to the Managing Director, Head of LGPS and Consultant Relations, EMEA & Asia, the Distribution Intern will provide valuable support to the distribution team in various tasks. You'll be involved in servicing existing clients and contributing to the development of new business opportunities within the institutional client channel.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for client meetings and presentations, including scheduling, preparing materials, and following up on action items.
  • Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to support distribution strategies.
  • Assist in sourcing prospects through various public websites, industry media, and other databases.
  • Collaborate closely with the Distribution team and other departments to support cross-functional initiatives and projects.
  • Provide support to the RFP and database team in coordinating deliverables.
  • Maintain and update pertinent prospect and client information within our CRM system, Salesforce.

Must Have Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Interest in learning to navigate through CRM systems.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Genuine interest in the financial industry and distribution strategies.
