Job Title: Database and Distribution Co-ordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Database and Distribution Co-ordinator to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the distribution of inventory from suppliers to regional hubs and restaurant locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the distribution of inventory to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams to optimise the supply chain.
  3. Oversee inventory levels to avoid stock shortages and surplus, maintaining accurate records and tracking KPIs.
  4. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulatory requirements in all stages of the distribution process.
  5. Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and implement solutions to enhance distribution operations.
  6. Resolve any distribution-related issues in a timely and professional manner, working closely with internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain coordination, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
  2. Proficiency in supply chain management software and MS Office Suite.
