Behavioural Support Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Behavioural Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting students who are facing barriers to learning, particularly in behaviour and attendance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a behaviour facility and develop intervention strategies to promote positive behaviour management.
- Collaborate with school staff to implement behaviour plans and respond to incidents.
- Work one-on-one with students to help them achieve their goals and overcome barriers to learning.
- Partner with staff and external agencies to engage families and maintain accurate records for proactive intervention.
- Assist in managing internally suspended students and removing barriers to learning.
Requirements
- Appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and external agencies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
