Job Title: Finance Support Manager

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Finance Support Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial support and guidance to our operations teams across Scotland and North England.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Operations Team to identify opportunities for financial improvement and provide insightful reporting and recommendations.
  • Work closely with the Head of Finance to develop and implement a strong financial control environment across all locations.
  • Support the monthly completion of trading accounts with operations managers and provide period-end variance analysis.
  • Produce accurate client and company forecasts and budgets in collaboration with the Operations Team.
  • Conduct financial audits on site and provide guidance on financial process best practices.
  • Follow up with sites that fail financial health check audits and provide support and advice.
  • Deliver financial training and support to the team.
Requirements:
  • Studying or part-qualified CIMA or equivalent.
  • A strong, outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
  • A motivated, proactive, and organized individual with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Commercial acumen and excellent Excel skills.
  • A passion for delivering continuous improvement.
Desirable:
  • Experience working in a multi-location business.
  • Experience in financial training.
  • Commercial or retail finance experience.
