Job Title: Depot Manager

McQueens Dairies Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Depot Manager to lead our depot team and drive excellence in depot operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the depot team to achieve excellent standards in health and safety, learning and development, customer services, financial control, facilities management, despatch, human resources operations, and transport.
  • Coach and develop team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Manage the depot's profit and loss centre, ensuring distribution costs and overheads are in line with budget.
  • Communicate effectively with the transport team to ensure all faults and repairs are carried out as soon as possible.
  • Manage the facility in accordance with health and safety regulations and technical food safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Background in dairy, food, or drinks distribution preferred.
  • Management experience in a nightshift operation.
  • Exposure to food safety audit standards such as BRC.
  • IOSH certified.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Applications (Excel, Word).
