Lead a Team to Success

Are you an experienced recruitment manager or team leader with a passion for motivating others? TeacherActive is seeking a talented individual to join our market-leading company in Hull.

As a Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of successful consultants and resourcers, with the full support and guidance of senior management. This is a billing role, requiring a successful track record of agency recruitment and ideally some management experience in education or social care agency recruitment.

The Role:
  • Develop business alongside your team, leading from the front to drive growth and achieve targets
  • Implement branch sales plans to deliver required results, conducting regular sales and operations meetings
  • Add to your headcount to build the best possible team, aligning your branch to the TeacherActive culture
  • Conduct regular 121s and team briefs, providing information on sales goals, campaigns, and other relevant details
  • Recognise employee achievements and encourage excellence in the work environment
  • Motivate the team to gain the highest possible outcomes through activity, balancing wellbeing
  • Ensure all staff receive the best possible development, acting on feedback from the Learning & Development team
  • Evaluate team and individual performance, providing feedback and coaching
  • Interact with customers regularly to ensure high levels of satisfaction and act on feedback
  • Ensure adherence to TeacherActive compliance standards and policies
  • Assess local and regional market conditions, identifying opportunities
  • Draft forecasts, business plans, and manage budgets, allocating branch funds and defining financial objectives
  • Coordinate with other branches to share knowledge and plan promotional activities to achieve goals

Requirements:
  • A successful billing record in agency recruitment
  • Experience managing a team of Recruitment Consultants/Resourcers
  • Confident and resilient personality
  • Able to build rapport and strong communication skills
  • Great organisational skills and flawless work ethic
  • Ability to nurture relationships
  • Knowledge of the education recruitment market
