Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Thornbury, Bristol. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live independently and achieve their goals.

About the Role

This is a part-time position, working 24 hours per week, with a competitive salary of £14,476.80 - £16,598.50. You will be working in a residential setting, supporting individuals to develop new skills and become more independent.

Responsibilities
  • Encourage individuals to participate in activities and take responsibility for their own lives.
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment in the home.
  • Deal with challenging behaviors in a safe and sympathetic manner.
  • Provide personal care and support individuals to promote their independence and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure the safety of individuals.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a similar setting is desirable.
  • NVQ or QCF level 3 in Adult Social Care.
  • A passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Must be a driver, as travel between sites may be required.
  • Must be over 18 years old.
