About the RoleThis is a part-time position, working 24 hours per week, with a competitive salary of £14,476.80 - £16,598.50. You will be working in a residential setting, supporting individuals to develop new skills and become more independent.
Responsibilities- Encourage individuals to participate in activities and take responsibility for their own lives.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment in the home.
- Deal with challenging behaviors in a safe and sympathetic manner.
- Provide personal care and support individuals to promote their independence and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure the safety of individuals.
- Experience working in a similar setting is desirable.
- NVQ or QCF level 3 in Adult Social Care.
- A passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
- Must be a driver, as travel between sites may be required.
- Must be over 18 years old.
