Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with varying needs, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care and mobility, while maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to support students with complex needs.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure seamless support for students.
Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A calm and consistent approach, with a focus on promoting positive behavior and well-being.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, while also using initiative to manage work-related tasks.
  • Experience working with students with ASC, PMLD, and MLD is preferred, but not essential.
  • Previous experience in care, elderly care, and nursing will also be considered.
