About the Role:

Look Ahead is seeking a compassionate and resilient Support Worker to join our Wood View Service in Waltham Forest. As a Support Worker, you will work closely with the team to provide support to vulnerable adults with learning disabilities, enabling them to develop independent living skills and promote social inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

Work proactively with the team to handle the service caseload and support an effective team approach to meeting each customer's identified needs.
Contribute to a positive service environment, ensuring the service is supportive and a place of safety and stability for customers.
Ensure Look Ahead Health and Safety policies and local protocols are adhered to at all times, to ensure the safety of the customers, colleagues, visitors, contractors and premises.
Deliver all aspects of support to enable customers to develop independent living skills as appropriate to the individual needs of the customer.
Champion a positive local culture within the service.

What You'll Bring:

Has relevant sector work experience and good values.
IT Skills.
Demonstrable experience of supporting vulnerable adults with Learning Disabilities.
NVQ Level in Health and Social Care or equivalent or willing to complete the qualification.
