Finance Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance team with various tasks, including supplier statement reconciliations, remittance advices, sales invoices, and credit control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform supplier statement reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Send out remittance advices to suppliers in a timely manner
  • Raise sales invoices and manage credit control processes
  • Accurately record income received each week and maintain up-to-date records
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
  • Assist the finance team with filing, administration, and record-keeping tasks
  • Deal with supplier queries and resolve any issues promptly
  • Post journals and maintain accurate financial records
  • Provide administrative support to the finance officer as needed
  • Assist with quarterly management accounts and year-end accounting processes
